Not yet...have not seen him around in the village. Will keep you informed.

    Kind regards,

WGT: OK, I get the idea, I'm not getting anything for my tickets. But will at least get $120 added to my career earnings, so it actually looks like I've won something?

I bet you don't though, seeing as I ended the tourney (on the 12th) outside of the top 111.

Second that emotion though I didn't win as much. Point of pride.

Congratulations on getting your name back.

The folks at KLM wanted a Dutch-only tournament, but, WGT couldn't do that, probably, for legal reasons. So, WGT compromised by keeping it a secret. Then zoelenaw, God bless him, let the cat out of the bag and all us lousy foreigners started playing.

By not having an announcement and keeping this tourney hidden with the, subsequent, confusion over the end date, WGT came off looking inept and out of touch with their members.

Funny thing is; this C-T-T-H course is the only one I've shot well on. I finished in the top 100 and won those imaginary tickets. And, now, it's gone. I hope it comes back.

I don't even think it will get added to your winnings, as it is like an external tournament

In other words, the whole thing should have been done externally, like the Pebble Beach challenge, which used WGT machinery but did not pretend to be part of WGT and was wholly run off the USGA's US Open website.

In my personal pursuit of an answer regarding NO prize at all for a 9th place finish in this comp. I've been advised that this is all KLM's responsibility & congrats from WGT on the top ten finish??? Typical wgt pass the buck crapolla. I'm surprised they didn't try to tell me it was all my fault due to a bad internet connection or under rated computer or some such crap. Yeah, I should of cleared my cache, that's it!!

I'm not happy with this response & will consider whether or not to pursue a complaint with the FCC who I believe would administrate this type of a dispute here in the US. Any input or support from the masses would be appreciated.

seems like if they only wanted Dutch players/winners, they could have said up front "prizes are for a tournament THIS WEEK...or that lessons would only be available to be given in Holland.  at least then the foreign players wouldn't have their hopes dashed at the conclusion..."

also if i were Bollox, i'd be cautious about those tickets.  it might end up being on Oceanic 815 or something...

the lack of a public response from WGT whilst sadly predictable is truly shocking.

Personally, I have lost all trust in anything they state now. Ignoring your stated terms and conditions is a breach of contract I would have thought?

In the meantime, I am now in the process of researching my family tree on the very remote chance that I win the celtic manor sweepstake price, i may need to demonstrate some welsh heritage.
