Great tips.  I like the one about creating a spreadsheet.  I created one for my self that combines a couple of formats used here by others on WGT.  I then enhanced it to give me more information like club selection and power setting and offset for wind.  It has allowed me to play those 45sec and 60sec shot clock games.  got tired of looking for my calculator :)

Nice web page Davester & very generous to share your tips like that.

Can I just point out one small thing about your spreadsheet. Where you have shown us your formula for the putting calculation, you don't actually need to use the SUM function as that is used for addition only. All you need to put in the cell for the calculation is '=A1/1.38', you don't even need the brackets really as there are no other calculations in the cell. Hope you don't mind me pointing that out.

    Keep up the good work.

Are you saying that the percentage on swing meter shows up? I use the 3 click method but at no time do I see a percentage of swing.

    Davester9:

tried to make my own, but ended up using the Shot Pal due to it's accuracy and ease of use.

    Cheers - Dave

If you use the original meter the word original and the blue block that looks like a ruler is perfect for shot pal. The first O in original is 90%. It is fairly easy to figure out the other percentages using the lines in the blue block.
