    In my opinion it would be a great benefit for the owner to be able to grant access to prospective members without them actually joining. As a prospective member I could then;

    1. Browse the forums and see the types of players that are involved in the club.

    2. Look at the types of tournaments that are being played and the participation level.

Different people are looking for different things in a cc and having access to the club before joining would give you enough info to make a much more informed decision.

    My two cents.

Well you can't browse the forums but you certainly can check out every player and also the tournaments.

    My 1/2 cent.

I'm an average player and have only been in the Lobster Lair.CC.Why leave when it has a great group of fun people.

    S'what it's all about X and it's because of members like you . . . the best CC on WGT . . . no question :)

I will say that The Lobster Lair has some of the nicest people in the game. When we played you guys in a CC vs. CC tourney it was good fun.  Ryan always spoke well of you guys and he was right (maybe only time ever)!

With regards to CC tournaments, BGCC always had a plethora of tournaments to play.At first I found it discouraging always competing against such good players. But I hung in there, taking in as many tips / pointers as I could. I honestly can say that I would never have made Tour Legend without the help of the fine people at Bridgestone. They are a great group of people and I am forever grateful for all they have done for me.
That is so True TS, a great group of guys that will help you in anyway they can, i give to it John and Mr Ricker for running a great club.

Well look what I stumbled upon during my morning coffee. lol.

I was only in 2 CC's in my 2.5 years here. About half was spent in the Lobsters Lair and it was def some of the most fun times ive had on this game. Good people with good spirit and a will to just enjoy the game for what it is.

....then my greed took over of trying to become the best player I could be. Joined another group of great people who helped mold my game a bit more. Most days I wish I didnt try to be so damn good at this game. Pulling my hair out cause a shot of 165 yards didnt go where it should have.

Still ended up making some great friends along the way and im happy where I am. Which really needs to be focused more in this stupid little game. Too many cry babies in the forums. Find some people you enjoy, and milk'em dry of fun. lol.

In my 4 years I have belonged to 3 clubs.........

The final club (and I say that with certainty unless I get booted out) is by far the best run, innovative and exceptionally well organised club I have been in. I am sure there are other great clubs out there and behind every  successful  club is a very hardworking owner (an sometimes with helpers).

Two and a half years for me, and ditto on that in bold.  And no, it is not a coincidence that we are talking about the same club.

    FTFY BM.

How could you forget Mulligans CC? MCC was great, I think there were four of us in it. We had a blast.

We always found ourselves playing AS games with a guy named Lashe, who happened to be in Lobsters Lair. Lashe would always invite guys from the Lair to join us. Great group of folks.

Sure enough, BM closed MCC and we all went to the Lair, I've been there ever since.

To answer OP's question- 3 clubs in 5+ years.

    MC

Strange, as I write this the orange CC invite button is blinking.
