Your club has grown bigger and better for it Pete by the look of it.
2 former clubs, both large and both exceptionally well run. ECGA was my first club, great club but just the wrong time zone for me and The Peoples Club.
Started Southern England Links around August last year and took the best bits from both of my former clubs, added some stuff and ended up with a very fine club with fine members. Have had many people through the door and a few that have found the exit as quick as they arrive. I never understand why players join clubs and do not participate AT ALL.
The good members, i'll fight tooth and nail for and have done in the very recent past, the bad uns don't get a second more of my time. I don't have any time for bullies or abusive people in Southern, i've been called many things because of my stance on it and fortunately, that destructive element no longer plagues the club and we've continued to grow and add quality to the membership.
I see many clubs on here that rightfully have many a kind word said about them, testament to the owners who do put a lot of work into it for very little reward but equally, the members who make the club successful. If you're in a good un, stay there it will only enhance your WGT experience.
