  15 or 18 holes at Oakmont...lol...

   

  But for me, #17 at SA....I don't think I've even made a reulation par on that hole, prbably played it 50 times....either chipping from the rough, or flopping from the bunker.

   

  For the rare occasion thatI even hit the fairway, I get giddy and pull or push the approach shot...

  Only when the pin has front placement.  Nearly impossible for me to get it close.

  Just got a triple bogey on BP15.

   

  I hate chipping. How the hell do you chip successfully from 8 yards away. Seems no consistency.

  Use your 60 wedge with backspin and hit it 75%-adjust for slope accordingly. Or use the 64 with topspin if it's downhill to the pin.

  BPB15 transcends most strategies because of the ridiculous pin position. Just about everything not directly below the hole has a scary break. Trying to chip close is a real art so don't be too hard on yourself there.  :-)
