    courteneyfish:
Level 94 Amateur with 12 ranked rounds. Enough said.

    How is that even possible?

With all due respect Jim, you should stick with cabinet making

Heh, this coming from the HoopMaster himself.  I would imagine the less to be done, the better.

Why not have it so the players can check their elevation on the mini map. It already shows the distance.

No, no, no, I'm the Anti-Hoop Master!  You do realize since you oppose this idea you can no longer complain to us shot calculator types about how long it takes us to hit?

Zio's on the right track, add it to the pop-up.  And while WGT's at it, I'd like the wind direction in degrees.  ;)

That would really be a great help. Good idea Andy.

LOL. I'm not opposed, I'm one of those that's examining the grooves on the club for my next shot, waiting patiently. I just find it a little tedious trying to get something 1/2 way. If they want to do it right, do it like Links did and have a picture of the elevation from a side view with yardages and elevations from tee to green.  :-)

Jeeez just show it for crying out loud.  Whats the big deal. I figure my shot right after my first shot , then add or sub the elevation

Luigi, I think you've suggested a even easier version of my suggestion and am sorry for not having seen your post or considered it myself.

If one can mouse over anyone's ball on the mini map and see their remaining distance, what difference would it make if I could also see the elevation, including my own?  Is it really a "advantage" to know it even though I'm somewhere else in or off the fairway...left, right, in front of or behind his ball?  Same for missed fairways.  Is there a "advantage" to seeing/knowing my % of rough once the ball stops?  From the time my ball stops, be it tee shot or fairway, being able to mouse over the ball and see remaining distance, elevation and lie gives me no advantage time-wise over another if they also can do it.
