    Yes.

You said , yes. I asked for an concise argument, not a single syllable response.

What tier system is in place? Are you referring to Amateur status vs. Pro?

The Challenge Tour is the second tier men's professional golf tour in Europe,   Players who are successful on the Challenge Tour qualify for membership of the European Tour the following year. Fifteen players earn direct promotion to the European Tour.

    For example.

Maybe, right now it is really geared towards keeping players from sandbagging.  I know some scores seem crazy but that's a byproduct of it being a video game.

I just can't stop laughing at this.... Please tell me I'm not the only who reads what that is saying?

Whatever.... don't care anymore - Make a new tier, don't make a new tier - change something, don't change anything. Drink the kool-aid, don't drink the kool-aid. None of it matters anyway as anything and everything added to or managed in this game is to one end - Revenue, period.

The only possible way you can stop sandbagging is to abandon your ranking/level/tier system. But again, it's all based on revenue - not the game of golf.

You're right - all of the problems surrounding this issue are because it's a video game and as such, until WGT start taking an interest in the actual game itself, none of this matters in any way.

What I don't get is why there's no private club, where you have to pay a yearly membership to enter and maintain membership. 50K to get in and stay there. Limited to TL and 'above' only and players with the 'pro'card' status. Something like that.

    Oh, wait.... ya... sorry, nvm.

I mean if you're gonna to go elite, go elite.

The first thing that comes to mind when I read "New Tier?" is "New Tears". ;-)

Any half considered point to go with that? Or did you mean good idea but can see problems? I can't so any light  or is that it?

From the general tone up thread, the idea sounds like another complaint trigger for the members. In other words, just something new to cry about.

No.  Although there seems no point me getting back into it, WGT asked for opinions on this in the summer.

You are spot on DP..  Wgt was the first to bring up the idea of a new tier. My reason for starting this post was to get the membership thinking about ways to improve upon the way WGT uses the "Tier-Level-Avg" system now in place. What would be the point of having a new tier if nothing else changes. There must be a way to balance the "Sandbagging" issue along with having an averaging system that is more realistic. And allowing red tee tournaments to affect your average did not help...

I understand we asked for the input.  Which was looked at.  I don't the specifics on what the overall outcome will be from it, I just know for now the focus has shifted to what I referenced.

As you know one out on the 10th Dec, he primarily referenced "dialing in CC Event" .

So the question was asked in June and no work toward another tier before Feb/Mar, I reckon it sounds realistically that the earliest it could happen would be about a year after asking.

Some of the reasons for or against another tier may well be different then, there will certainly be a lot more TL's.

Never mind, there's always the clash.
