    Our CC has.

But the worst part of this whole thing, is Shoe.

This guy is the best....have a problem? he busts his butt to get it fixed.

There has NEVER been a better mod than him.

WGT threw him under the bus.

You have a great employee like he is.......and screw him over by having him say...Bandon....Pebble......Chambers Bay..... for 3 months.....

.Management needs to step up and tell us why they lied to not only him, but to their customers.

Agreed. I feel bad that he's got to take the blame for this. And that this would be a good time for Chad or someone like that to speak up

According to the "News Section", PB will be full stroke play in December. And, the Virtual Tour is now divided into 4 3-month sections. The winner of each quarterly section will play at the end of the year ( I think that's how I read it).

There's also the "must twitch to collect" :-)

To me, its pretty obvious why WGT management appears to have pushed Pebble Beach out from the expected Feb-March timeframe before Chambers Bay to later in the year.  Anticipation has always been their biggest tool for building or holding interest in the site.  "Teasers" on MisterWGT's profile blog and chats are effective in getting member speculation fired up.

WGT knows the players have long craved to play the full PB.  Next to Augusta it is THE most wanted course. So why not, especially at this time, keep that interest high for a while longer?

They want members to stay interested in the path that leads to Pebble Beach and don't want members taking a parallel path.

Of course there's a limit when anticipation turns to frustration of not getting the carrot and the whole thing blows up.

    Hear, hear!

There's a good measure of possible truth in the explanation!

OTOH, in times of equidistant challenge, it might be better to keep their promise than to be called a liar and put another burden on hope.

As many know, they are WGT, hope is futile!

Well, they would rather owe it than cheat us out of it

    Now i am the fool.

Well, on the bright side......looks like that internet cafe is back open for business as usual.

Maybe we all are the fools.

At least been taken for fools. Especially considering the carrot on a stick concept. The disappointment is epic....

Just not good enough really from a company that charges exorbitant fees for any performance enhancing equipment (including 600 credits+ for the high end golf balls!).  What a joke -  WGT makes a lot of money but gives players little in return, the consistent demand has always been more courses yet its the one thing that WGT seem to drag out for as long as possible.  Many people have registered dissatisfaction with Bandon: i'll add my name to the list.  The Par 3's are a challenge but, at the end of the day, they are just par 3's and as such it becomes very repetitive very quickly and in the end resembles a pitch n' putt - I think members deserve better.

This Pebble Beach nonsense is a real disappointment and just feels like another lie/con from WGT.  Don't think I'll be playing much in 2015.

Just another thought regarding the carrot & stick idea - with the US Open heading to Oakmont in 2016 (meaning WGT has no obligation to add another course) what are the odds that Pebble Beach is delayed again and then hailed as the 2016 centre piece in lieu of Oakmont already being playable??  Perhaps I am overly cynical but really would it be so surprising??

    WGTdbloshoe:
We don't have a exact date.  Next course up will be Chambers Bay for the VUSO.  Things change constantly and there is not a way for us to give a exact date of release.

Whilst I am not happy I appreciate DB's honesty.

I agree every business must have fluidity but if things are going to change - explain this to your customers first rather than saying nothing, Communication has always been WGT's weak link.

One course a year (yes I exclude best ofs and Par Three courses) is simply not enough. Course development has stagnated in the past years and foolish and unpopular additions (such as Clashes etc) have been implemented instead.

Minimise development costs and maximise customers spending seems to the the goal. Sadly this game is slowly strangling itself via greed rather than pushing forward to realise the full potential this game has.

Still a good game, but surely the aim should be for greatness.

I'd take any new full 18 hole courses, including fantasy courses. As long as this game has been around, you'd think there would be allot more courses to play than there are. I'm bored with the choices we now have. Forget about adding more advertising, and concentrate more on providing us players more choices. We spend enough money on this game to provide enough resources to get the job done.
