  He looks like a real Gnome! If only we could drive it 350 yards, and place it where we wanted. And then hit a wedge within 5 yards of the pin. And then sink the putt. All with 35 MPH winds howling. Sounds just like WGT golf.

  And boredom sets in ... 4 and 1/2 hours until Sunday television coverage starts for me on ESPN ...

  Early scoring this morning ...

   

  • Graeme McDowell is -4 after 5 holes ...
  • David Duval is -4 after 9 holes ...
  • About 5 or 6 more at -1 after a few holes ...

       Course is playing easy going out ...

  wind is expected to turn to a north easterly for a few hours which will make it a bit easier 12 though 17

   

  late starters tomorrow are in for heavy rain :)

  I am watching it live at the moment in a HD streamed Portuguese channel. BBC is not sending now and The Open live coverage starts first at 11 local time.

  Anyone has a better options for Europe?

  edit, found dam good streamed HD Nova Sport zive a Czechoslovakian site I suppose, but with no sound....I can understand Portuguese but not a word in Czech ...LOL 

  edit 2. The Open live is on...but they are so bloody annoying to listen and only show sporadically the live action...grrr

  The main channels should have started 32 mins ago.

  Another option is to watch a new dynamic leaderboard option by The Open itself.

  BBC is not sending!! : ((, no idea why not. This Czech has a fantastic HD sending, so I am watching the Czech site & listening to the boring Open commentators....lol

  Any German channel sending?

  Anyone for a PRACTICE 18 holes round at St. Andrews with HIGH winds at 13.00 UK time (5.00 am WGT time, 14,00 CET)??

  Please post here so I invite. If more then 4 players we make 2 groups.

  Nope.

  Here, only Eurosport (Wednesday Selection) and Sky (Pay-TV) are available. I used streams by wiziwig until they closed, and now cricfree which has some severe traps before you can start. Yesterday, ESPN was their best choice, but now I'm gonna take my Lady on a Sunday trip ;)
