  Yep, course is about 10 min walk away, seems much less windy than earlier.

  Do you, by any chance, knows someone from the tournament committee to tell them that THERE IS NO BLOODY WIND any longer?

  The guy in the weather hut said they wont send them out until they are sure the wind wont get up again, they dont want a replay of what happened this morning.

  Lol, sadly I think my opinion would carry no weight.

  My daughter was working down there from early on till 3 o'clock and says that it was not nearly as bad by the time she left, still windy but playable.

  I think they will just try and get the 2nd round matches finished today then play from normal tomorrow, having a Monday finish,  if the weather allows it :)

  just heard the latest , hoping to start at 6pm , so we might see a bit of golf today. 

  Its probably better i didn't pick anyone else, i wouldn't want to jinx them to,,, Rose hit by lightning or Spieth blown down a hole lol

  I really like this deal. Being in California. I'm in bed by 10 pm, up around 4am...by routine. It's nice to wake up and be able to watch The Open with a nice cup of java...;-}

  Play due to restart at 6 o'clock, winds are much the same now as they were at 3 o'clock.
