2016 Course plans ?

  To any WGT administrator out there:

  Since WGT has been releasing at least one new course per year based on where the USA Open is being played that year, what will be happening in 2016 since the 2016 US Open is at Oakmont, already a WGT course ?

  Will 2016 be a dry year for any new courses ?

  Some haven't lost their hope yet to see Pebble Beach Full 18 this year...

  Maybe not. We got Oakmont in 2010 when it was the Lady U.S. Open course. There are several options available to WGT for U.S. Open courses. The Ladies open course, Cordevalle and the Senior U.S. Open course Scioto Country club are 2 of those options.

  In the past WGT had an agreement with the Royal and Ancient, but no longer.

  Many courses do not want to be included here on WGT.

  WGT got all the photos they needed for Pebble Beach the 1st 2 weeks of May 2014, over a year ago.

  I think all we can say for sure is that there won't be much information forthcoming from WGT on their plans

  I've got the uneasy feeling that we won't be seeing Pebble Beach until May 2016.

  Pebble Beach 2016, and some whoopee pitch n putt somewhere is my vote.  Wait and see :)...A way outside guess might be the next Ryder Cup venue??

  The December Virtual Tour event is listed as the Pebble Beach Championship and a  is a major. I don't see them having a major on a CTTH course.

  Like the little Peter Hay nine hole course adjacent to Pebble.
