    WGTShamWow:

    Hi pearljammmmer,

Please try the steps below to help with game stability.

    To clear your Browser Cache...

    1. It depends which Web Browser you have:

Chrome - click on the Wrench icon in the upper-right corner of the browser window, select Options-Under The Hood and Clear Browsing Data

Firefox - click on Tools in the menu and then options, click on Privacy and select the Clear All Current History option

Internet Explorer - click on Tools and then Internet Options, check the Delete Browsing History on Exit option, click OK on the bottom of the screen

Safari - click on the Gear icon in the upper right corner of the browser window, then select Preferences, select Privacy, then click on Remove all Website data

    2. Restart your Web Browser

    3. Note, WGT recommends using the Chrome browser from Google for the fastest game performance and automatically updated browser plug-ins

    To clear your Flash Cache...

    1. Visit Macromedia Adobe at: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html

    2. In the Global Storage Settings Panel, change the Global Storage Settings to 100K or higher, and select the "Allow Third-Party Flash Content..." and "Store Common Flash Components..." options

    3. In the Website Privacy Settings Panel, click Delete All Sites to clear the Flash Cache

    All the Best,
    WGTShamWow

In short, it's like the guy who walks into the restaurant  and orders soup ,then calls the waiter back and says waiter there's a fly in my soup and he replies it cant be ours, we dont keep flies.

ShamWow's response is the company's mandate.  He doesn't say it because it works, he says it because he was instructed to do so.  No Indian is going to say or do anything (without fear of reprisal) that they haven't been instructed to do, they do not have the authority.  Only the chiefs have it.  My nickle.

Yep, nothing to do with WGT whatsoever.  It's always us thicko's who don't know how to use our PC's.

Plus, the "clean your cache" was always directed to ease the jumpy meters...what could that possibly have anything to do with connectivity? PLEASE WGT....

Tech support is the same world wide.....

1)Is there power to the electric outlet.......................Yep aint stupid

2)Did you clear cache..............................................Yep aint Stupid

3)Did you upgrade Flash Player................................Yep aint stupid

4)Did you reboot ........................................................Yep aint Stupid

And another 100 useless questions ...........................Yep we aint Stupid

I have played here flawlessly the last 3 years(with the usual hiccups here and there)and have always stated so but the last month has been terrible at best.Does Wgt management even know there is problems,do the Mods let management know the 20 million players and 40 Thousand CC are having problems(Per your media page)or are they not informed?

Here is just one problem...The Blue screen of Death........playing stroke and after 1st player tee's of your program says game over and gives 1 xp point and then freeze's with a blue screen, all that can be done is to close browser relaunch and rejoin game.

I have played online golf since 1998 starting with links to Ea Sports for 8 years to Wgt for 3 1/2 years so I have been around the block.I built my 1st computer from Radio Shack and used every version of Windows(Dos1.0) since 1.0. so just let me say Yes you guys have problems and its cool but please stop the canned response .....HAVE YOU CLEARED YOU CACHE  because we have and if players haven't learned that by now they probably aint speeding and money here either.

I've been away all week and all I play is alt shot.  Logged on hoping to get some games in with the club.  This is all very discouraging.  I know all of the "tricks" from task master to ccleaner, etc... so if I experience issues tonight, i know where the blame lies.  Fingers crossed.

OK WGT, I thought I was really upset before when I began this thread...but now I am REALLY MAD!!! Once again, a 18 hole three player stroke play game...we're on the 18th hole - on the GREEN in fact - and I disconnect for the THIRD time by getting the white screen and the ! - another player also had two strikes and the third player was ready to do a disconnect to "save the game" if need be. But that opportunity never arose because I got the white screen and !, boom, game over.

Sorry but this is REALLY GETTING OLD WGT. Once again, I had a good round going, but that's really not the point. WE had a good game going...we're less than ONE HOLE from completing the game and no stats, no nothing...BUT THE BALL USAGE SURE DOES COUNT. You should give away sleeves of balls for all the disconnects that happens instead of insulting us by telling us to clear our caches, do this, do that.

BOTH times these disconnects have happened we were at St. Andrews, in the early evening east coast USA time...pretty much prime time for traffic, no? And St. Andrews is probably the site's most popular course? I am thinking the amount of traffic on the course you're on matters as far as trying to stay connected?

WGT I truly love this game but this is REALLY GETTING TO BE FRUSTRATING! Come on, put some money back into the site and improve your servers or whatever.
