It astounds me that people still come in the forums to complain.
Anyone who plays the game for more than a couple of months should be able to figure out what is going and the culture of WGT.
If you're going to play here, expect exactly what's going on and happening to you.The game isn't broken, it's working exactly the way WGT wants it to.
Here's something you should think about - If you are playing this game, are constantly frustrated and annoyed after spending your own money on clubs and balls in order to compete and you still can't, but you keep doing it over and over anyway?
You have a classic case of addictive behavioral disorder. You do realize that's the heart of WGT's business model, right?
Sorry but in my opinion you're way off base if you think the way WGT is functioning right now is exactly how WGT wants it to work - you tell me what other company embraces this sort of philosophy? Do you really think WGT wants longtime loyal customers to be upset and frustrated - and possibly leave, which many customers certainly have already done? Or do you think that quite possibly WGT would prefer that their game functions smoothly and their customers are satisfied?
The way WGT is addressing their various problems they have had over the past several months leaves much to be desired, but I seriously doubt things are exactly the way the site wants them to be. And saying that "addictive behavioral disorder" (which I do NOT have btw) is at the heart of WGT's business model is laughable.
Most longtime 'serious' players don't spend money on the game anymore - It's the new players trying to become as good as and compete with the 'Marquee' players who spend the money. Longtime players usually can earn enough in RG's to buy what they need. WGT makes nothing there, minimal.
WGT doesn't care if longtime awesome players leave, they've spent their money, done. Lots of great players have left, no one at WGT offered any bribes to keep playing.
No doubt I'm sure they wish AS was a little less of a b!tch to play sure, but then again, AS isn't a great money churning machine for them so keep pluggin' away. How's that 3 strike and out rule working out? Are you still losing balls to wear? You betchya ! Maybe it is working just fine then. ;-)
What I don't understand is why they don't have a practice range - People would be blowing thru buckets like sailor's on two for 2$ hooker day, especially newer players.
