It would be impossible to play without noticing it, so your also a liar.  Me personally, I didn't find them to be unbearable, but very childish and arcade like, which is not the experience myself and I'm pretty sure most others who play this game are after. Realism is what this game was spose to be about, but that's out the window apparently. But what concerns me more about this horrible downgrade is that I can't even get past 3 or 4 holes before the game totally freezes up, which I wasn't experiencing before this downgrade. Same with my buddy I play with often. Saw he was on so I sent him a text. Same thing. He's already quite for the day, and I'm done after this post.  Just a suggestion: before you start putting childish effects in a game, take a look at the audience you have playing it, it's obvious that no one from WGT bothered to do that.  Thanks.

  I have to look away from the screen after I hit a shot because this bothers me tremendously. How can I shut that off ?

  I suppose this may be directed at me? First you may want to learn how the quote feature works. It makes communicating here much easier.

  Same here but I actually do find it a big deal after playing for 3 hours. It got to the point that it actually hurt the eyes and I had to look away each time. Wound up with a headache.

  I'd hate to get a HIO now. FFS, you'd be blind for an hour.

  Exactly. Kudos to Cerino, a man who will speak truth in a crowd barking half-truths and exaggerations.

  I think you're all overreacting. We have people threatening class-action lawsuits, signing petitions, complaining of headaches, flaming the admins and WGT tech staff ... I'm sure they've heard you by now.

  Furthermore, if a few added graphics bother you, perhaps it's time to just get off the Internet completely. This place is just far dangerous for you. These added graphics were not over the top by any stretch, and this is not the end of WGT or the world, although by reading these comments here one would think so.

  That is your opinion. Acknowledging every fairway hit, every green, every par putt or better with an outlandish, garish proclamation definitely is over the top and totally unnecessary. This is a real issue and does warrant immediate attention.

  You can minimize it and quote Shakespeare all you want, this is something that does affect a large number of players.

  My guess is it affects a small, but very vocal majority of the usual forum cowboys who've chosen to gang up on WGT on an issue they think they can win by screaming like a bunch of petulant children.

  Send a note to support, voice your concerns, but creating numerous threads on the same subject in several sub-forums, demanding it be changed or else, is not what adults do.
