I'll stand in the minority with ya VegasWade. The new graphics haven't bothered me at all.

Well, if you're truly in the minority, then that would suggest the new graphics are problematic, yes?

Much ado about something that is essentially trivial.

But that's the thing: we get to define what is trivial for ourselves, not others.

+1 bro. Much ado about something that is essentially trivial.

That's nice.  Now would any of you three care to admit that it's a wee possibility that a large number of other users find the new feature quite annoying, distracting, and in some cases painful?

This idea that "It doesn't bother me, therefore it's not a problem" is egocentric and condescending to say the least.

100-1 against, so far. Rather illuminating. (Did I say that?)  :-D

Illuminating indeed...further proof that in some cases illumination is a good thing, while in others it's an idea that's a little too bright.

So, since I disagree with you, I'm egocentric and condescending?  Thanks for the laugh.

The thing is WHY does wgt think these stupid flashing texts or any texts at all belong on the game client during play in a virtual golf game. I thought wgt was proud to produce a golf sim that was as close to the real thing as possible. Well, when is the last time you saw a banner hung across the fairways with any type of texts??

We can't even do a single practice hole without this PIA flash popping up. So it's down to just CTTH which most players I know don't care for.

I'll enjoy my time away from wgt in the meantime, thanks for giving me my spare time back.

You need to go back and read what I wrote.  I said the idea* that "It doesn't bother me, therefore it's not a problem" is egocentric and condescending.

If that makes you laugh, you're much too easily amused.

    * attitude would have been a better word choice than idea
