but creating numerous threads on the same subject in several sub-forums, demanding it be changed or else, is not what adults do.

Of course not! They're too busy quoting Shakespeare.

"If you *** us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge?"

    VegasWade:
My guess is it affects a small, but very vocal majority of the usual forum cowboys who've chosen to gang up on WGT

Says the guy that just friended with Icon today. Do you feel a need to defend your new "connection" now? You have a lot more to learn than 8 months here have taught you so far. The new graphics are horrendously bad in so many ways and just a quick look at the last 24 hours here alone shows that 300 of us agree with that fact against two of you that must think you're going to somehow gain something by defending this crap.

I'm sure TGIcon can defend himself.

I've been here a lot longer than eight months, my friend. A LOT longer. And I don't need anything from WGT admins or the multi-million company.

The venom being spewed here by a small group of 300, in a pool of multiple thousands of players is pathetic. This is a good, fun game - both on mobile and PC, but there's very little appreciation around here for what WGT has accomplished since 2006. It's one complaint after another endlessly on these forums, year after year after year. Belittling the admins, tech support and WGT is a childish way to go about effecting any changes you seek about this issue or any in the future.

Obviously they've heard you and others. Trust me, they couldn't have missed it. Creating multiple threads in several sub-forums isn't productive. Write support at the link below, state your case and move on. After that, find some appreciation for the game, instead of looking for everything wrong.

How do you think it looks when new members log in here to play for the first time and see complaint after complaint? Does anyone here take the time to thank the staff, admins and WGT for enriching this game? Hardly ever. The seasoned players here should be setting an example for proper forum and golf course etiquette, not piling on to create discourse every chance they get.

I'm a firm believer in the glass-half-full theory to life. Things here are a lot better than when I first played this game years ago. Maybe we should take the time to thank them for their work. Can improvements still be made? You bet. But spitting up your dummy on the forums every day is not the way to effect the changes you seek.

you have been a member this time since july 2015 but YOU say been on years and years reading the forums

Refreshing to see an honest multi-account even thou he he has no idea what about anything. This game is virtually unplayable in alt games not much better in multi stroke games. AND I CAN TELL YOU 300 OR SO UNHAPPY PEOPLE IS JUST THE TIP OF A BIG ICEBERG. MANY DONT POST AS THEY HAVE NEVER POSTED IN THE FORUMS AND IF THEY DID WOULD BE MODERATED ANYWAY

How long has FB been going ?  Only way?

Anyway the graphics are one helluva screw up.  Naff and harmless at best.  Trouble is many v sentient people are expressing their extreme concern at the health hazard.  One guy in my place has been expressly told to leave this game alone by his health provider.

Monumental screw up that tops anything New Ideas have so far achieved, and that was never going to be easy to do.

Presumably New Ideas never have time to even watch the news?  How many flashing light reports do not come with a warning first these days?  They effed it up, and they need to take the slating on the chin that comes with that.  They do get credit from many where it is due, but they stuff up this large, manage the crisis as ineptly they get chit...easy stuff.

Not checked the counting.  I would not call 300 a small group though.  Most never come to forums, let alone the main forums and to see this many is a sign just how monumental this eff up is.

Roo, I played this game years ago, then came back. And the game is leaps and bounds more playable than it used to be. WGT has come a long way in the last decade - a time where computer programming and systems changed exponentially. Perhaps you should upgrade your computer graphics, operating system, RAM, etc.

After that, stop seeing the negative in everything. If you focus on negative, you'll see it everywhere. It's a downward spiral of attitude. Focus on positive and you'll find it.

I'm betting by the next server downtime they fix this issue. Relax. This, too, shall pass.

Again you are freely admitting to being a restarter

following your reasoning all the players i play with regularly all have issues with wgt so it must be everyones system at fault except yours and a select few

i do have an issue with the flashing light but i can put up with it and hope that is deleted. the number of multi games that cannot be completed is all WGT, NOT MY SYSTEM

i also play other pc games and i never have an issue with those

btw i am never   negative in my life but you do not know me and well gee i do not want to know you.

give us the option of turning it off

Exactly. Like other stuff here that some find annoying and others maybe like - "celebration sounds," putter pal, that talking guy etc.

Really ? On what planet ? I've been here since 2011 and have watched almost every " upgrade " add features no one wanted or asked for, while game errors and connection issues of every kind  have gone unaddressed. The reliability and playability of this game has steadily declined since I joined, and I'm sure the majority of players would agree. Multi player games are a total crapshoot as to whether you can even finish now. I'm also sure the community as a whole would much rather see these problems dealt with rather than new flashy graphics added. Sorry, but, I fail to see how anyone could back up that statement.

    Doc :)
