  Too many players are comfortable on these champ greens. Tour masters and Legends hitting with perfect pace. Plus it would allow the game to open up and put fear in all players.

  That makes no sense to me whatsoever.

  How would what you suggest 'open up' the game.

  Mmmm...sounds like someone might be unhappy about losing to a lower tier player or two. Chit has been known to happen. Just guessing of course.
