US Open Qualifying Cut?

  I can see the cut even go to 60, -11.  I'm on 61 at present, the cut at the moment is 62...A few more rounds might deffo be necessary

  Will definitely make the cut now with my 58. Safe at last LOL

  Cant wait for Royal St George, as i was new last year when the Open at St Andrews was going on, and it was scary playing black tees with a rapture LOL, as i hadn't reached master yet.(ahh, the good old days of unlocking every tier) Last year, i struggled to make the -8 for the cut, only for it to increase to -9, i then struggled for ages to make the -9, only for the cut to increase to -10 the last day or so. I was gutted, missed out on a hat lol, so i really want to make up for it this year and qualify, and the course is like St Andrews mark II, and probably going to be a favourite of everyones.

  Think it will be 60 now to qualify. 61 is still qualifying at the moment, but slowly but surely slipping down the leaderboard. And there is still more than a month to go.

  Having said that I will be getting my hat now as I just shot 59, which should have been 58 but I was way too cautious on the last.

  However, to do it, I had to rent the R11, buy the distance Calloway balls and most importantly hit some really good shots.

  Was it worth it? - OH HELL YEAH

  Watch out Country Club, I am back in circulation (and only 4 shots off Bollox)

  Yeah I'm at 61 and know i"m not safe anymore.  With 66 people now at 60 that number might be safe since it is top 156 plus ties.  I'd like to get in with a 59 to feed good about it but I need a couple of putting lessons if I play on that happening.

  Top 156 plus ties. 61 still gets you in.

  Yep true Jim, but the next 60 round will eliminate 83 players cause 61 will be 157th spot

  Yep, I think 60 might hold though with so many of the good players having played already and a pretty large group at 60 since it is 156 and ties.  Going to go all out for a 59 so I'll be in for sure.

  I'm in right now with a 59.  Had to play my butt off for that!  Do ya'll think that will hold?
