YankeeJim:As for shommy's case, it all took place on a site totally unaffiliated with WGT and therefore not subject to WGT's scrutiny.
The playing of the game using the cheat was done right here, it was only exposed on another site.
YankeeJim:Nothing ever came of that besides shommy's ban.
Which most likely goes to show that it was against WGT's tos, no? I'm guessing this also goes to back the fact that it was in fact being used here, not only off-site.
It's very simple, I think. Cheating happens here, like it does in every darned game ever invented. WGT has yet to find a means to detect and prevent it. I don't think it is too unrealistic to discuss options for preventing it, it would just be nice if all parties could be open enough to it to discuss it rationally.
