    dchallenger:

If you can't handle opposing comments then, don't post.  The forum is a place for everyone to be heard (read) not just those who would agree with you.  Thank you Yank for your opinion.  And I couldn't think of a 'nicer' way to make your point.  Bravo!

In respect to the OP, you should put all that effort into bettering your game.  Maybe you'll even be able to beat a "hacker" or two.

I will accept any challenge once.  If you jack me, you go on my "do not play" list and I will never waste anymore of my time with you.  End of story.  No worries here.  No stress here.  Just having fun with those who do the same.

Now, I'm done with you too...no worries, no stress.  Time for more fun.

    Just sayin'...

    d.  :)

How can you possibly disagree with suggestions to make the game harder to hack? Where is the logic there? What is there to disagree about? What is the "opposing viewpoint"? That making suggestions about security improvements is bad? I could understand if the feedback was related to one of my suggestions, but it isn't. The wgt trolls are after me for the IDEA of having suggestions to combat hacking, not about any specific suggestion I made! Isn't that just rich?

    As forum trolls rarely do.

Wow Jim, you sneaky little troll you.

What's with the name calling? My "conundrum" is quite legitimate and the question was asked. There's no trolling involved here, just a discussion that you started. If you can't handle give and take without insults you have a problem. If I get upset  over an opinion then I have the problem. Obviously I don't have one.

As for shommy's case, it all took place on a site totally unaffiliated with WGT and therefore not subject to WGT's scrutiny. That was also discussed in that thread if you care to read it from the beginning. Nothing ever came of that besides shommy's ban. That whole episode didn't prove anything other than how stupid people can be.

You still haven't offered any yourself. Maybe because you don't have any? IDK

Spin it any way you want Jim, You were "turning red" yelling for proof of cheating, claiming my suggestions for tighter security in the game needed proof of cheating first to be valid. All the while you were an active participant in the aftermath of a known cheater. That's all, that's why I called you sneaky...troll. You didn't count on people bringing that up did you? And one click over there, and there you are in all your glory posting on a thread about a known cheater, making it obvious that all your red faced cries for proof that cheating exists were laughable.....pfft.

??  Oh really? I think it proves WGT doesn't scrutinize everything.

The fact is in the week before Shommy was outed on WGTLS, he shot a career best 9 hole score of 27 AND a career best 18 hole score of 57 on WGT scrutinized tournaments.  WGTniv admitted that slipped by.

At the end of the day, I truly hope wgt can take this thread for what it is, a real and honest suggestion forum about an issue that is important to many. Because if you're a hack, or the best legend in the game, one thing is for sure, every honest player wants to know that others are playing straight up. And suggestions to make the game harder to cheat at certainly should never be misconstrued as a negative.

    That's twice.

Yelling is indicated by typing in capital letters. You didn't see any of that.  What you also must not have seen, and artfully dodged, was my question to you about proof. I simply asked you to prove cheating was going on. You still haven't addressed that. You're the one with your knickers in a twist and have to resort to name calling. That's intelligent. It really validates your concern.

The playing of the game using the cheat was done right here, it was only exposed on another site.

Which most likely goes to show that it was against WGT's tos, no? I'm guessing this also goes to back the fact that it was in fact being used here, not only off-site.

It's very simple, I think. Cheating happens here, like it does in every darned game ever invented. WGT has yet to find a means to detect and prevent it. I don't think it is too unrealistic to discuss options for preventing it, it would just be nice if all parties could be open enough to it to discuss it rationally.
