Someone mentioned June 9th as the date for the opening of Royal St Georges but I thought the opening was to be just after the final US Open tournament round is played.

Royal StGeorges looks like it could be a beast of a course.

Just finished 18 holes at St George's.  My hat is off to WGT for having such a fantastic course.  The greens are in great shape and will confess to more than 3 putts on several holes.  Hole #9 is extremely difficult.  Overall the scenery is breathtaking and the course is absolutely awesome.  Well done WGT!!  Did I mention the 18th, another hole that if you're not close to the pin...watch out.

Yeah fun course to play.  If you set up a game with tough conditions you can see how it can be much more difficult than the Open Qualifying is set up.

Green speed on Royal St. Georges is hopelessly inconsistent.

One green is slow, the next like a rocket.
