Before and after you hit your shot you can click on all the little camera icons. Some help some don't ...you'll soon learn which ones help in what situation.  Good Luck...!!!

Thanks for the reply, I think I understand now. The photo on the right where it shows the triangles and such.

Each camera points in the direction you will be looking. The one behind the green lets you look down the entire fairway. The first one-the green one-is what you see when you hit the Zoom or the space bar. Turning them on and off is an option in the game settings.

I have played quite a few Alt Shot games on this course now and have found most of em are very close matches. This course can be easy, but brutal if you stray off the fairway into the weeds, Unlike the other course's I havn't seen anbyody lose a ball yet, but I'm sure that might start shortly.

Great Course..I really like the overhead shots they are  fantastic too.

    Cheers

Managed a 57 at last, i was -5 untill the par 5 on front nine, and due to a overshot 23 yard approach (i get it within 1 to 2 yards 99% of the time) i bogeyed the hole, so finishing front 9 at -5 i was unsure wether to carry on.

But i managed the back 9 from heaven, i managed 6 birdies by the 16th to score me a 59, i was happy to scrape into the cut, but i even birdied the last 2 holes to score me a -8 for back 9 and over all score of 57, I was well thankful i didn't quit at front 9 with my -5.

Playing 7th this morning and caught this camera shot, I think that one might have slipped through the net!

On a rather sad note I have heard on the local grapevine that the three cooling towers that form a very noticable landmark here are set for demolition in July this year, love them or hate them they form a stark and striking skyline for East Kent and I will miss them, still be on here though :)

I lost one on the 5th, when you're hitting to that weird banked green; I used too much club and that thing hit the hole-side bank and went flying off into the houses. That's my cautionary tale, and why the approach on the 5th causes me more grief than any approach outside of Oakmont's 9th.

Lost one on the 14th, out of bounds along the right side.

Has anyone - by the way - tried to roll their drive across that little footbridge that makes such a fetching target on the 14th?

I tried the other day, although not on purpose.

From my tees I need about a15 Mph wind to get to the water.  Maybe more if I'm drowning standards WGT balls.
