ignorance is bliss, but it isn't reality or reflective of how your actions -declining an invitation and being oppositional in your responses to me in particular is truly reflective of your claims of being helpful to all who ask.

I for one can now say, you haven't been helpful to me and I did in fact reach out to you and you did in fact acknowledge declining my attempt to do so.  That is on you, not me.  That is reflective of your actions...

I think it's a choice personally. If you put the work in and time into figuring out a formula and its winning you big time games, I wouldn't expect that person to give me their secret. That's not being a jerk imo, that's being smart : )

didn't catch your response as I feel got dragged into a different direction...

I still respect your position, but I would also suspect, if I was part of your CC or I had reached out to you and developed a rapport and we had played together you may feel inclined to offer tips or help because I did those things, not because you had too but because we established a rapport with one another and you didn't feel I was just trying to take something and run without even offering so much as a friendship or join your CC or whatever that you found reciprocal value in.

When I first joined my CC, I met a few people and I showed some promise as someone learning the game quickly.  A couple members offered to help with club purchases when I reached a certain level and I would save up credits watching videos in the meantime.  But it was somewhat conditional -- provided I just didn't take their kindness and run off as some had in the past...they felt burned, they felt taken advantage of.  I assured them I wouldn't and I tried to use my CC passes and the like to help the club even though at that time it didn't amount to much.

Still...most people would like to feel they are not being taken advantage of and their generosity will help better their community and club in some way.  So in that regard they are "paying it forward."

In your case, when you are competing at the highest level among elite players any small edge that can help does become somewhat of a trade secret.  I can respect that.

I have also learned that what some people do and tips they offer don't always translate 100% of the time because they do subtle adjustments that they don't calculate but they just know from experience and that can't be taught or traded away.  It is also very difficult to explain they can just "see the line" or know the wind offset because they have played so many rounds.

That said, sorry I missed your follow up but am glad I caught it albeit a bit later than expected.

I know what you mean. I can't "see the line" at all from just a raw look at it like the top players seem to be able to do. But after I calculate it, line line comes into view along with the subtle adjustments.

But because I calculate almost everything, my putting tends to suffer when on the clock. Even if I have plenty of time, it seems I'm always in a rush to get the putt off. Hoping that will play itself out as I get more experience in multi-player games and matches.

    Thanks for the thoughtful reply.

I wasn't in perticular saying I wouldn't help as I have put out putting guides in the main forum, made a thread about the meter and have shared my personal iron/ball mappings with many people. I'm just saying that if someone chooses not to that's okay and was refering to the secrets at the top level more so.

    Putting Tips

Also just a heads up, my posts are screened so that's why you missed my post.

Now I can call BS on you. Not sure what pathetic game you're playing but you never asked me for anything, let alone help with something. You're making like you're some kind of wordsmith and it turns out that's to cover up insecurities. Reflect on that.

As for someone electing not to share info, that's their choice. Young46 sets the standard.

    @theOpster-Anytime, bud, when I'm green it's to play.  ;-)

More than any year in the past I've noticed an increased amount of players who started in 2016/2017 and are shooting to me unrealistic scores while achieving certain stats that takes years of experience and knowledge.

You either have to be an attractive 20-something girl or German, then mastering the game within 150 ranked rounds is not a problem.

It's beyond me why WGT isn't kicking out these obvious fake accounts. They (or the one guy operating all of them) don't even try to be subtle about it.

To be fair, WGT did actually shut down the Hustler(husker)sisters, along with a few other darker angels. Only took them a couple of years to do it ;-)

I stumbled across another one of these examples you referenced possibly. Within the first week of joining individual won over 7000 credits in WGT tournaments and ready go's and goes on to continue playing ready go's building credit bankroll and in less than 2 full months of play on WGT is virtually leading the Legend division of a WGT major event.

This appears to be an obvious display of what has been identified by AB, but only someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of how the game operates and works could take these kind of steps and know how to do it.  Just crazy...

And, as I pointed out by exploiting and winning these events they are not putting money into the game...it is credits they are winning from those who are trying to play by the rules that end up being at a severe disadvantage.
