Come on Andy... dont be so cynical... how can you expect them to fix issues AND sell more and more advertising space at the same time??

    Priorities mate... priorities.

Being cynical will cost me two balls in the water and one OB.

OOOPS!  cynical again.  Double the above.  LMAO!

but we are closely watching every tee shot now to make sure we can see the tee. I am hoping to come across one where it is missing and then get the shot on replay.

Here's a replay on the tee at Oakmont 17, no tee seen, cloud of dust on the hit,  full bs applied, but the ball carried as expected.  The 'No Spin Bug' was absent. Dove ball used. (GI-SD Vapor)

    Sorry Andy... cant agree....

I watched a number of replays from various people, all using drivers or irons off the tee. In the replays the tee is not visible, i assume they deem it unnecessary info to save in a replay.

Also the replays i watched, showed a puff of grass blades or most often nothing around the area of which the ball was hit, the replays of the flat shots look quite different.

The spray you see in your replay, if you look very closely is actually a puff of grass blades that fall gently back to where you hit the ball.

Watch your replay again... have a close look Andy, then watch mine again... my replay is an aggressive dust cloud and a lot of it, indicating the club is making contact with the ground.

They are very very different in their appearance in the replays bud,  but the best bit is they are on the same hole.  A very visible difference.... and outcome.

Hold on a second Mr. Briggs before dismissing my last replay!  LOL!

Your observation, very good btw, indeed shows my last replay on Oak 17 kicking up a few blades of grass while your shot looks like you hit an exploding golf ball!!  You kicked up a ton of dirt sir!! (The fact the dirt is well to the right of where the ball was might be relevant or irrelevant.  IDK could be just graphics and not affect the shot.)

I took your advice and took a close look.  In fact I took a long, hard, close look at not just our two replays but all 5 replays posted here.  Way back to Allen's replay on page 6 from the 24th.  I compare all the "divots" from all 5 shots below.

Its important to note that both drives with low ball flight, #2 & #5 below, have quite different divots.

The divot from Allen's drive (#5) is identical to the divots from my normal flight drives (#3 & #4)

I'm still not sold on the "cloud of dust" divot being the answer.  How can it be?  When Allen's low drive showed a normal divot?

Briggs, can you post the links of the other flat drives you used for comparison?

    Links to above replays:

    1. Andy's tee shot on Oakmont 17 - Normal Flight

    2. Briggs tee shot on Oakmont 17 - Low Flight

    3. Andy's tee shot bumped off the tee at BPB 4 - Normal Flight

    4. Andy's tee shot on BPB 4 - Normal Flight

    5. Allen's tee shot on BPB 4 - Low Flight

Andy...I am glad you have taken my comments the right way.. :-)

I am super impressed by your graphics and time put into researching this problem... maybe i am not 100% correct in my initial assumption but i still think that there is something there and possibly not just a "no backspin applied to the shot" issue.

I went through a number of friends profiles looking specifically for replays saved off the Tee box.  Please dont ask me to find them all  again and link them in...LOL

My biggest question now is... Where is WGTicon??

Have seen he has responded to other threads but nothing here after he has people dedicating a lot of time to identify some key issues to this problem.

Has anyone received the balls he offered up??  Has he even come in to thank us for our efforts and report that he taken these possible scenarios back to the Tech team??/ NO!!! is the answer here.

Another poor poor display of WGT's inherant inability to communicate well with its users and infact those that pay their wages every week.

2nd question.... What happening in regard to my 1000C entry fee into a Ready Go that was ruined by a WGT fault in the game???  I finished with a 31 and received 675C back for equal 12th... IF that tee on 17 had not been screwed up i would have posted a 30, which would have returned 1575C... thats a 900C error for me to have to wear, which i dont intend to.

Is anybody out there listening to anyone on here???

    Stu

Nothing happened to me, I am here  and reading. I passed up the replays to our team and they are checking it out. But, as you know, our #1 goal right now is skins, so once that is done, the other issues will be prioritized.

No one received balls yet since I only seen 1 person post 2 replays up. The rest are something else? Or I am I wrong?

Also, just because I am not replying it does not mean I am not reading.

WGTicon.... keep us informed and show some appreciation for the work other people are doing... you have some ver disgruntled players here.

As far as replays... Allen, JVR, myself and Andyson have all posted replays... if yoiu are reading this and taking note you would see them... the rest of us certainly have and have been discussing them.

AND... what about my 1000C entry fee for the ready Go... you commented on evcerything else BUT that issue.

The level of communication over an issue which is a major headache in the game is shocking from your side.

Amazingly now, you are telling us this is not a priority... your focus is on the skins??? Sort the basics mate before working on new stuff!!

    Its insulting WGTicon... insulting!!

the 1000 fee thing is off topic. putting it here, will just sidetrack the thread.

can you pm me and explain exactly what happened?
