    Oldstir:

Thanks MB, good advice and so even if the wind is right to left, then still don't worry about landing too far left?  But come down on the power a bit too?  And also adjust a little aim to the right to compensate for a wind which could blow it too far left?

Yes, now it's been a long time since I played BP in heavy winds, but in low to moderate winds, I still play to 15 as I mentioned above.

The next time I play it, I'll save a replay to show you what I mean...post on my wall so I remember:)

I would say the hardest hole to Par is Cabo 18th let alone Birdie.

Oak 9th is easy to Par if you know how to do it (I had to ask for help in the forums for that...thx all for the tips)... and Beth 15th is very easy to Par for me...

Yes Cabo 18th would be my worst at the moment... If you get Champ greens on that hole, it's horrific...lol

    Cheers

This may already be known to everyone but I just found it and thought it might help Oldstir.

You can play any hole on any course on it's own, great for practicising those kryptonite holes like BPB #15.  Under Community there's a link Golf Courses.  From there select which course you want and you can then pick a hole to play.  The tees are the short ones but you can always take an iron off the tee so your second shot is from your usual spot.

Drive, approach, quit, drive, approach, quit, drive....... as often as you want without having to play 5 holes to get there.

drive approach and Putt. 15 is a very tough putting hole and since your on the green anyway, go ahead and putt it out.

    Oldstir,

I set up the hole as mentioned before, unfortunately it was giving me standard greens, so the roll is not "as normal".

I teed off with my iron to leave me in your stated range (close anyway) and  used my 205 club, choked to about 200 yards.  Also, was using a GISD ball, but look at my last replay called BPB 15 approach, and you'll get an idea how to play the shot.

Thanks so much for this practicing tool. I have been around for years and never new this feature existed. I am only a Master but now on those holes I have trouble playing I can practice and maybe become a TM. LOL.

So thanks again for that tip.

Thanks MB for taking the time to set up that replay.  That's a complete Horseshoe effect and it's Nasty ain't it?  Wow! :)  I saw how you did it but any ball i've ever hit in the grass before the green, NEVER gets out of the grass and onto the green unfortunately.  But I'll certainly try your 'aiming left' method next time I'm bored and want to force myself to play BETH again. :)

BTW, do you know how to use the Search mode to set up a Threesome.  I thought you could only play Single, 2-Player or Foursome?  But someone told me they played a Threesome.  Someone else said you have to choose Stroke Play for a Threesome.  But how do they know you're looking for only 3 players when there are still 4 spaces on to screen to fill?

This topic is very difficult in that the different tees can make a hole that plays easy play very difficult.  On Kiawah for example, the 13th hole I think that is right is about a 365 yard par four from the master tees but goes back almost 100 yards from the Legend tees and is a tight tee shot from a tough angle.

The 17th at St Andrews from the Legend tees is about 60 yards longer and again with a horrid angle that with a heavy right to left wind is almost impossible to get in the fairway.

I think the 4th hole at St Andrews is in that group as well.  Plays back to about 490 from the Legend tees.

That is why people make comments like wait till you get to the Legend tees, because in some places it is like a completely different hole and what is a drive and wedge is now a tight drive and a 5 iron.
