Best of Hardest course ??????

  I just started the front 9 of this so called "Best of Hardest holes" course and cant believe the 2nd hole at Kiawah is on it and even more stupid, the 4th hole of Bethpage..........

  Who on earth put these 2 holes in there when they are 2 of the easiest birdies on WGT, i'd like to know who's choosing the holes for these "Best of" courses and how many beers they had before hand...........

  What a joke...............

  Except Oak #12, there's no par-5 who isn't an easy birdie hole.

  Kia #2 definitely has a slippery green and I can see why they put Beth #4 with the elevation it has.

  I really think they made a great selection - are this the toughest holes - i do not know - i am sure there might be some other though holes out there - but all of the holes require prime shooting - thats is great fun.

  Par 5 - well there are easy eagles here - guess that makes it tough. Maybe they should have gone with a PAR 70 layout - but for a Par 72 this is really enjoyable.

  1. Bethpage 15th

  2. Congressional 2nd

  3. Kiawah 2nd

  4. St. George's 3rd

  5. Kiawah 4th

  6. St. George's 4th

  7. St. Andrew's 17th

  8. Bethpage 4th

  9. St. Andrew's 13th

  10. Kiawah 5th

  11. St. Andrew's 4th

  12. St. George's 9th

  13. Congressional 9th

  14. Bethpage 7th

  15. St. Andrew's 8th

  16. Congressional 4th

  17. Kiawah 9th

  18. St. George's 7th

  I'd like to know which morons are voting for these best of courses. Any course titled "hardest holes" that doesn't have Bethpage #5/#7, or Oakmont #9/#18 is a total joke.

  Well, it does have Bethpage 7 for sure, I just bogeyed it - the 14th hole here.

  As for Oakmont, its absence here and in the Best Of makes it pretty clear that the club won't allow the course to be used in compilations. They must have required that the integrity of the course be maintained. Understandable, but now it is tending to marginalize Oakmont somewhat.

  bp # 7 is there. bp # 5 isn't so hard any more with R11/nike combo. oak has been absent from any "best of" course so far, so I guess there's a method in wgt's madness.

  And Oakmont #8. No single hole from Oakmont..Come on.  This is no way the hardest without any from oaky

  How  about Oakmount #1 with the pin in the back , putting in the shade where you can hardly see the grid
