Best of Hardest course ??????

  As for Oakmont, its absence here and in the Best Of makes it pretty clear that the club won't allow the course to be used in compilations. They must have required that the integrity of the course be maintained.

   

  Makes sense to me,  never thought about that.    Clarification from WGT would be nice on this one though.

  It seems some are missing the point of "The Best of WGT Courses". Would everyone rather have pay to play TruGolf courses instead? I believe these "Best of" courses are a good alternative compared to the competition and the best part is, their free to play.

  At the end of the day, it's immaterial what wgt called it.....Hardest/Easiest..or what holes are chosen.  Fact is that it's given us yet another decent combination of holes to play.

  I agree fully with this. Heh, love the twist at the end where they plonk in one of the easiest holes on WGT from Legend tees - RSG #7. :D

  This course was not voted in. This course was build from the average of scores posted by all tiers.

  I think kiawah #2 was playing over 5.7. across all tiers. I don't have the data handy anymore, but yes, from legends POV, whole holes many easier than others not included, but if you look at all tiers, it becomes much clearer.

  Either way, these tracks are a nice stopgap measure to provide us with more options until the open courses arrive later this summer.

  I bet it has nothing to do with WGT and 100% to do with Oakmont not wanting their course split up in a best of format. My guess is that  Wgt would've certainly included it in best of course had their not be some contractual obstacles.

  I like the best of hardest course.  Will be a perfect track to play skins format on  to reduce the number of TIED holes.
