icon is there any reason why oakmont is not included in these "best of " courses?

See above: "This course was not voted in." I wanna know who did the "voting," since apparently it wasn't the players.

Yeah, a course voted on by the players, that's a good idea. WGT should implement that one. Going by the averages could be misleading, going by the players votes would definately get a better response. Still, any mix of holes would still be enjoyed by most. Now how 'bout the easiest holes, and we can see how low we can go on the score card. I'm out, headed for Kaanapali South course then up to Kapalua to hit the range, if it's open that is. Best time to go, right after the tournament. Aloha.

I think kiawah #2 was playing over 5.7. across all tiers. I don't have the data handy anymore, but yes, from legends POV, whole holes many easier than others not included, but if you look at all tiers, it becomes much clearer.

Yep, I can understand the poor average on Kaiwah #2.

Before the R11's & the Nike balls, chasing a drive which gives you a shot to the green was often very dicey & cost me many shots in the past.

Kia is all about ball placement...its not that hard once you figure out that you cant chase some shots there.

I too was sad that there was no oakmont holes.  That would of been really exciting.  Maybe they have to wait a year or two after adding the course.  Who knows.

Just finished my first rounds, front and back.

    It's fun.

I think there two distinct flavors to the two halves.

The front 9 felt like there were more birdie opportunities, but also a lot more punishment if you screwed up.

The back 9 felt like it was an exercise in grinding. More wiggle room with mishits, but fewer birdie chances until the final few holes.

Overall, I think it's a nice compilation of holes that flows pretty well.

I was worried about the contrast between links courses and the others (something I didn't really like about Best of Stroke Play. It seemed bipolar), and I, for one, think it plays more fluidly without Oakmont.

I would like to see THE KING (Bollox) playing in this course and getting a 27 or better

I am far from Bollox's standards, and I shot 63 on this course first try. I bet he could simply muster up 27.

The one thing that struck me was the length. I just love how you hit so many long irons :)

WGT have made a pretty good hole selection but it really lacks something without Oakmont.

It's great to now have 8 courses, albeit 2 remixes and 1 TruGolf course.

Are you saying it to me or someone else?
