  If you refuse to play with a 30 second time limit, you are a coward or a special education graduate. how much time do you need? seriously? Laugh at all the LEGENDS who need 90 seconds to line up a tee shot! got a problem with it, challenge me! No challenge, shut your pie hole.

  I agree with Cawvard here,!!  I think anyone who cant play with a 30 second timer is a total coward!!  I mean how much time do you really need to beat a cracked out meth head who locks himself in his mothers basement!  "Rooooonaaallllld !!   I told you to take the trash out 30 times!!  it only takes 30 seconds, stop playing that damn game and get a job"!!!   "Shut up mom!!, I need more than 30 seconds to take the trash out!!!!"

  I wouldn't go as far as calling anyone a coward, but I agree that it doesn't take that long to pick your shot, aim and hit.

   

  It's those few times you may need to let your meter run through and reset that the 30 sec timer hurts.

  I like the longer timer just in case I need it, not because I need it.   How else am I supposed to chat while it's my turn????  ;-)

  30 secs is o.k. until you come into a difficult or unusual lie. 45 secs will be o.k. 99%, but I'm comfortable with 60 secs. Not that I need them most of the time...

  Personally, I like the 90 second timer.  Its just etiquette to take on average 15-60 seconds, but some situations warrant a 90 second + timer.......  usually a must need putt on the final hole........
