    Mr. Pizza,

Hah! you got me. I'm having trouble with the picture I want to use, going to clear things up on Monday. Until then, thanks for putting up with my lame avatar :)

    Stay classy,

Its got a point but i hate to say this but in matchplay matches the putts either drop or they don't, in other words, if a player is meant to loose a hole there's nothing the player can do but watch it happen and its out of your control.

By "loose" I guess you mean "lose," but yes, it's totally up to the folks at WGT, who monitor every single game. Therefore your match play record of 639 to 203 is completely meaningless.

No one mentioned any one being singled out, it could easily have been my opponent putt which sailed wide and mine sank into hole.  Nobody thinks WGT monitors every single game, and if you even think that you're WAY off the mark.  Some one has to win and some one has to lose, if your own mistake or opponents mistake doesn't cause you to loose then i will guarantee one of you will get a random deviant shot WHICH DOES cause you to loose. Take a match i played yesterday against a friend, it went to extra holes, and i told him watch one of our shots come up un-naturally short, and guess what happened on Cabo #1, my 135 iron with full spin landed bang on the money at 131 yards and a yard from hole, my opponents same club approach landed short of the green.  Its not favouring or against anyone, its just RANDOM, i just happened to be the lucky one today,

"positive" deviation as well has just been labelled "positive", but its these type of shots, which tend to happen in a "hot" round, (I notice them when scoring better than 56) missing ding on break side of putts put they zoom straight for cup where as usually they would sail wide, 15 mph crosswind, you miss ding by a bit on WIND side, yet ball seems to fly straighter  and lands close instead of being 10 yards either side of pin, and sliced drives don't fly off fairway like they should.

What most people are getting at, they would prefer a round where you are punished for these shots where its your mistake, miss ding/slice, wrong club and deviate shot all you want but don't land it close to pin like can happen now.  Dinged shots should go where they are intended and ALWAYS be effected by the wind which is advertised. So if i ding my 100 yard wedge in 10 mph tailwind i should expect it to go at least 105 yards, not shorter than 100.

The past 3 days i entered the $2 ready go at Oakmont, i play the same every day, use same club yardages for spin and no spin and are fairly consistant.  3 days in a row i couldn't post a score i would get to 4 under then nothing seemed to work as intended, yesterday the 4th day i played exactly the same as normal, but this time EVERY shot seemed to go where i intended and yesterday i post a 57 and win tournament.  What's important is that no one can win tournament's all the time, but when you get these "tough" deviation filled rounds and seem to struggle (clubs seem to be all wrong, and wind also not being straight with you) i can guarantee you the "hot" round is just around the corner!! And what keeps us addicted because you never know what type of round you are going to get.......

I really can Not Believe that some Players actually Belive this Crapiola, U make or break your Game, Albeit golf gods on ur side or not, Bad putts wont sink where as good Ones will. Bad aproch shots the same thing. Some times Yes U may hit a " what you think" was a perfect Ball and it Misses bad, does that now Make it a WGT problem No.......

I so wish I could wake up oneday and read A positive Post and not all this crap on How WGT sucks cos The player Missed his Shot. or how "Joe Black" is cheating cos his went in!!!!!

I have many bad rounds, some not so bad, Im currently Battling to Qualify for the Open, cant break 60.... but one thing is for sure, Its not WGT's fault cos i cant, ITS MINE  and MINE ALONE....

    Just saying

When i scored my 55 in Open qualifier i restarted a few times, and got to know front o.k, In those rounds i re started i might miss ding on a 3iron and ball would sail 12 yards left/right, Now in the round i scored a 55, the same MISSED DING on 3 iron approach would land within 2 yards where as the shot you played in the last round landed 12 yards right!

So say you had 106 yards to pin and 12 mph tailwind, the majority of people here would use their 100 yard wedge wouldn't they? (presuming they have Cally's or Nike's) So if your DINGED shot then lands after 97 yards, and not the 106 that you would usually expect, who's to blame? Did the WIND have any effect? Should it have said ZERO not 12?  was it DEVIATION that caused me to land 9 yards short when last time i played this hole (only a few minutes ago same shot landed 1 yard away)  What ever, its frustrating when the shot you intended does not work out, but dinged shots should go as intended and non dinged shots can deviate all they want.  A lot of players would tell the difference between a mistake they made and a deviant shot and the forum is filled with these arguments about deviation and random stray shots, i'm here to play golf not continuing in the PHYSICS OF WGT.

55 is a decent score, now how would u knwo u missed the ding by the same amount? on the same course? on the same hole? with the same wind?and most of all the same spin?

Please you can missding the same on one shot and the same as the other and wind hole spin will dictate where it lands.

Thats the reality of WGT....no WGT "appy" sitting in the pc waiting for u and thinking, well what the hell, let me mess with this guys brain. Ill put the ball way over there to see him Shiver quake and moan..............

Are you for real thinking that someone/something/ is making u shoot ur bad shots?

No one's mentioned being singled out, EVERYTHING IS RANDOM.  It could be Joe blogs playing a round and all of a sudden he gets a random shot, happens to every one, just that us perfectionists notice it more and because i'm always striving for a good score, it bugs me more, but i guarantee you, keep restarting the virtual open, and it might take 10 it might take 20 but out of the blue, you too will get one of those HOT ROUNDS where every thing you do is more or less perfect, but it does help to have a good putter to back it al up too.

So what you are saying is take out More of the reality and Let everyone Shoot 49's cos they Now can ding and hit what they think is the best shot........ WGT has crated this Game as Lifelike as they can, Yes Its not real and Yea there may be a few Bugs, In reality No one can shoot 50's in real life every Game , on most courses....or they would Have Tiger as a caddy..... There will always be some shots that may not work out, im not saying that everyshot is the same, Its not supposed to be now is it.????? all im saying is U make or break your game, There is No computer program saying if u should win or lose. If that were the case, we would all Be the same ranked. Play the same, etc...... But its not like that everyone on here has His/her Style of play, Miss-Ding, Full Back spinning, Aim, everything is different. Try for one hit ur 100 wedge top spin and back spin with a cross wind side wind tail wind everyshot will be different.

And one thing i Agree with you, There are the wonder rounds where everything goes Right, But let me add, All is based on your shots taken, and the way you putt.......

Ok iv said what i wanted to say, No use in Debating waht you or I may or maynot belive.

Happy golfing and Sure hope u see the Light....Its not always a train
