Its got a point but i hate to say this but in matchplay matches the putts either drop or they don't, in other words, if a player is meant to loose a hole there's nothing the player can do but watch it happen and its out of your control.

I'm saying this because my opponent and I had balls in close proximity on the green, his turned with the break into hole, whilst break on mine had no effect and ball went wide.  Why would this happen unless it was my turn to loose hole? How can a break effect one persons putt, but not the other?  When taking shots are we just adding a basic input but the rest is decided by wgt what happens next?

Type of ball and speed of shot might play a part.

Unless each ball and putter was indentical in the absolute identical location and struck with the absolute identical aim and pace, they'll react differently IMO.

no two shots are identical, similar perhaps, but never identical.

If you apply 2 layers of tin-foil to ones head rather than simply 1 layer it with thwart off all deviations, time to upgrade chris.

Think about this section I've quoted - what if that situation happened on a real golf course? Would you think it was "your turn to lose"?

Just as oneeyedjohn said: "no two shots are the same".

We try to make the game as realistic as possible, and that means that physics must come in to play, and that means we have to try to emulate real life physics the best we can.

You are in control of your game, no one else. You may have bad shots some times, or shots won't play out the way you planned them, for varying reasons, but isn't that how real golf plays out?

If you need some tips/advice, there are many players here who have given advice on past threads, and there may even be some that can help you while you play with them. Make some friends and ask for help, you'll be amazed at what you learn :)

That's why they hired all these new wgt gators and pizza's!.  So they can mess with our game!( Sarcasm). I really don't think they have time to mess with us individually. Have Fun!

And the drives either find the fairway or they don't.  It all depends on the black helicopters......

There is only 1 person who knows whats going to happen before it happens. All is already written in stone .Thats life and has nothing to do with golf.

I am a firm beliver that we control our own destiny but with a little help from a higher being.

Take it with a grain of salt there are many things more important then this game.
