    BOXALL:

No mention of Muirfield in last night's update. Probably isn't looking too good on that front. Hope there's something else in the offing.

In 2011 we didn't hear anything about RSG from WGT until the middle of May. May 12th, I believe it was. So hopefully next month.

I'm with Born, a little early yet to have a real opinion on the potential for a British Open course.  I'm actually hoping that they skip the British again and go with a traditional course from the US, maybe even Harbour Town.

Having 2 links courses and a somewhat links course in Kiaway, I think we are up to our fill of them.  I would love to see Carnoustie but that is just a personal preference of my favorite Scottish course.

We want........no we need 2 true high def courses each year and one true golf course.  I'll take the CTTH courses from the new courses don't go film one of those unless you are doing the stroke play.

I'm thinking a lot of European players on here will disagree with that :)

You guys get your US Open every year so I think the rest of the world deserve either the British Open or another course from the European Tour.....else they should just remove "World" from their trading name.

Muirfield is a fantastic course. The original rules of golf were instituted at Muirfield. It is the holy grail of the game.....far better IMHO than St Andrews.

I'm with you regarding Carnoustie...another of the great Open venues.

I know you love golf this side of the pond as you've been fortunate enough to play a few of the great courses, so it's all good THR :)

Somewhere between 80% and 90% of all the people on Earth live in the Northern Hemisphere.

That is because most of Earth's land is in the Northern Hemisphere..

That may be true for all I know, but there are some great courses down under that would look excellent on WGT.

If WGT sticks to the US Open and tries to squeeze in some British Open courses when possible, that is still just two countries. There are world-class courses in Continental Europe, Asia, Australia, etc., that we would love to play but which obviously aren't going to come in through any of the four major tournaments.

Asian and European tour courses, anyone?

Ria Bintan gets my vote. A cool course with enough trouble and elevation changes to be challenging. Would be nice to play it on here - somewhat cooler than playing in the humidity lol.

I know nothing of Southern courses, and would love to learn one.  I know the Aussies have several, and I bet South Africa has a few, too.

As for Open courses, we definitely need more.  There is a large Euro contingent on this site.  Carnoustie or Royal Troon would be a blast.

As for adding courses, I know it's expensive.  But, it's also beyond time.  The "best of's" and new pins are a cheap way of regenerating interest, but aren't the same as adding something new.  And, do it the WGT way.....not the TruGolf way.  Your graphics are so incredible when you do a course right.

Can't wait for Merion to be released, and it appears to be close, given the CTTH stuff surrounding it.  And, I sure hope Pebble is next.

Again, I know it's a complex undertaking, but I believe 2/yr is doable.  Before long, you'll have a nice library built up.

I'm hoping to see two a year as well.  My comments about skipping the British don't really have as much to do with the quality of courses there, I've lucky enough to play many of them over the years, but more to do with their availability, since many of them don't want to be associated with a video game and are demanding huge amounts.  If the current Open course isn't available, I'd like for WGT to have a fall back plan.  Make a deal with the PGA to take their course every other year or so, come up with something to give us a new course two times each year.

I would love to see Carnoustie and Turnberry.  I've played Muirfield, not one of my favorites but we all have our opinions.  There are many 'resort' courses in the US that I am sure would allow WGT to shoot.  Harbour Town is a good one, Kiawah was as well, Pinehurst will be coming up next year.   All of these three are 'resort' courses rather than private courses and are much easier to work with than the private courses.

We all want more courses, two a year at least is what we need to keep the game from getting stale and make sure that those two have at least two pin placements.
