TarheelsRule: I'm hoping to see two a year as well.
I think I would be correct in saying 99% of players want two courses a year (and most will not care where it is). You are correct in stating many courses do not want to be associated with a video game, or their terms are not economically viable for WGT. Most of these clubs are privately owned, and as such, will not want their club devalued by "gamers" playing it. The course I am a member of is one of Australia' better courses, and from my chats with members in the past, they would NOT want the course used in WGT as it would lose it's Elite status!
But there are many options available to WGT, but WGT NEED to clearly state their vision for the next two to three years - ie how many courses will be added for stroke play (no other details would be required). The players need to and deserve such a commitment from WGT. If the Open Courses are not attainable, then alternatives should be in place. WGT would know well in advance whether a course will available to use.
I know the Mods probably cannot do this, but is it possible for Chad to make a commitment for WGT (not TruGolf) to implement two courses a year for at least the next two years and perhaps a brief roadmap for the medium term?
