  How about making RG's all with the same wind direction and hole position?

  I can just about justify differing wind conditions but some players getting easy pin positions and others hard seems bizarre

  This has been discussed.... 

  Same winds will never happen even though there is overwhelming support from the players for it.

  I believe one of the mods stated a while back that all players in the same Ready-Go get the same pin positions. I could be mistaken about this.

  I just completed both the RSG front 9 RG and the BoP5 RG with high winds.  27 total holes with 20 head winds (within 10 degrees), 5 cross winds, and 2 --- count them --- 2 total tail winds.  So much for random.  WGT should definitely fix this or lay off the high winds completely.  It isn't fair when I get exactly one eagle opportunity in 18 holes of par 5s when others may see 8 or 10 and I can't even reach the par 4 4th on RSG because of a straight on 30mph head wind and others may be hitting 8 iron in.  Don't get me wrong - I am in favor of high winds - but only if everyone is playing the same conditions.

  Yes sir we had a thread on this not long ago. I was very surprised that more ready go players did not chime in. Mainly we had a few ready go players and some cheerleaders worried about how many players would then finish close to the top,, instead of being spread out. No worries there because went in one ear and out the other.....lmao.

  When we talk about ready gos.... i don't listen to what the non ready go players have to say..... all talk... no action. To have a opinion on ready gos.... i think you must play them....no??   :)

  I am done with playing high wind ready gos. It is not a competition of skill...more like luck. This game is bad enough with the Vem..... i don't need any of that.

  Icon chimed in and said it all works out in the long run......lmao!

  Soooo....... there you go.   The winds are not random.... nope....at least not for me.

  If i enter a high wind tourney.... i will bet any amount which way the wind will blow.

  We get enough players to stop playing them maybe we get their attention....never know.

  That's the thing. I've read many RG players say they play the RG's to fund their game play and balls. If nobody plays who's gonna be the stiffs that fund the balls for the others?

  BTW, I don't wager at all so do I have a valid opinion? ;)

  Yup... don't need RG's really CD.   Really i get way more balls off playing MPC.

  One match play match.... i could be good for a month......lol.

  Also CD we are talking about high wind  tourneys mate. Sooo..... plenty tourneys still left to play.

  And.... to answer you question.... NO.. i guess you do not have a valid opinion. We are talking about high wind tourneys...... not all ready gos......   geez...lmao!

  Really what does a ready go have to do with a player who does not play them????  I for one would love to know.

  I know the answer already...... but i still get a good giggle.  ;)   Please.... answer the question above^^^^  I'm interested.... thought about it hard.... can't come up with anything. Maybe you can help me.

  I hope you were talking about my thread when I said the R/Go's were taking too long to finish...lol I'm not a cheerleader.

  Every individual comps we play has to be different, That's when wind conditions comes in, for a random factor. If the Comps have the same conditions for everybody, then somebody can play it first and then message to ya mate what the wind is doing.

  Different pin placements is a No-No. It should be the same Pins for everybody and to my knowledge it is the same Pins for all.

  Now saying that...  I made a mistake setting up a CC comp.  Then made up a new CC comp...  same conditions, pins etc...   The Pin plaecements were totally different to each other

  I do wonder about this. I've played a RG with certain pins on certain holes (there aren't many I pay attention to, Beth #15 comes to mind) and the next time I played it had different pin positions on the couple of holes I pay attention to. Swapping up the pins tourney to tourney would require some programmer input, and I do doubt that is something the WGT team has their programmers spending time on. 

  I remember Icon talking about this a while back but couldn't find the thread.

  LOL..... no Roger... i was talking about another thread we had on high wind ready gos. Most of these cheerleaders don't play ready gos mate..... still trying to figure out why they post in these threads....hehe. I would say i probably will never figure it out..... nor will they...lol.

  And..... i disagreed mate..... every individual comp needs to be the same conditions for everyone..... only way to make it fair.

  As far as somebody running and telling someone what the condition are..... that means zero mate.

  Unless they are going to hit the shots for you... i can't see it.  That is what separates the top players....... either you can hit the shot or not.... right??

  Players getting all headwinds and players getting all tailwinds in same single play game is not a competition in my book.  Na.... i called that the have and have not.

  No way anyone can called that a fair and honest competition.  Nope called a WGT tourney.....lol.

  Edit:  Question for you Roger. If we had a CTTH in real life,, and me and you were competing..... but we had to hit our shots on different days. We are playing a par 3 180 yards.... on my day i get a nice lil tailwind... hit my 5 iron within 15 feet. But.... your day you get and 20 mph headwind...hmmm.... is that fair??

  See......   :)   I'll bet my 15 foot 5 iron wins all day everyday.  Really i would love to know what you would even hit...lol.  For me that would be a hybrid... not near as accurate as my 5 iron.

  heck , why not some how sync the pin locations,. green speed, wind and other conditions to real time data from each course - then ya just watch the weather channel to decide a good tee time?

  the illusion of that was done with US Open at Oly I think - 

  now that'd be real (except for general temp and precip i guess)
