Our Order of Merit seasons are in 4 parts, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. 13 weeks seasons throughout the calander year.

We are into our Autumn Tour now, and in each Tour we have 1 Major. 2 courses used ad ever decreasing difficulties.......no red tees as we never use them.

This Major consists of 4 x 5 day rounds.

Round 1 RSG : Default tees, very fast greens, low winds

Round 2 Congressinal : Default tees, Tournament Greens, Medium winds

Round 3 RSG : Default tees, Tournament greens, Medium winds

Final Round Congressional : Default tees, Championship greens, Heavy winds

As usual our activity is very good and there`s still a full 24 hours to go, so we will more than likely approach 100 taking part.

Sponsorship prizes are for Winner, R UP, Top TL, Top L, Top TM and Top Master and below.

The leaderboad is jam packed with top top players battling it out with some very impressive scores (except me as ive messed up...again) lol.

Every thread on here informs you how it is......nothing left for guessing.

If you wish to be a part of this very active friendly club then contact me please.

In June of this year i congratulated all our members for the club reaching level 18 on our website.

I have again congratulated them for their fantastic activity as we have today reached LEVEL 19.

We know WGT do not reward clubs for this, really after getting free shot/putter pal at level 4, then 20 available comps a bit later, then nothing changes, but it does highlight how active we are in achieving this level.

We do not have members who log in and just play WGT events but no club comps so makes the achievement even more incredible. Yes play at your leisure but at least play 2 club comps per week is all we ask.

If you wish to join our active club then contact me please

Cheers and well done to all in SEL. I am proud to be stand in owner whilst this was achieved.

For information we are a club with members from all around the globe. One click on our club and scroll down the members list is all you need to do.

Over a third of our members are from USA/Canada. Over a third from UK/Eire. The rest are made up from Australa, South Africa, Europe and Asia.

Lots of in house matchplay and Alt shots going on and we are preparing 2, or possible 3 teams for the pending mini world cup as we have a 40+ strong Inter CC team.

If you are social, and want to take part in our top tournaments then contact me, or apply and i will send you the website details.

Remember, we are active, with our leaderboards generally filling 2 pages and even 3 at times. Unheard of in WGT clubs. So you must play a minimum of 2 club comps per week......not a lot to ask seems we have over 30 every week.

    Thanks

The CLASH has never been an event we are interested in at SEL, but a member joined us recently and asked if he can start a thread with the possibility of having some fun in it.

We would never restrict anyone who wishes to organise an event, so filll your boots i said.

We finished 8th in our first real go at it, with around 60 members taking part.

Now the best bit for me was a thread on our website that Terywl1 started, had 18 pages of top class banter, folks advising each other on when to use Superpasses and basically organising between different time zones of how to win games, and we won all we played in.

So as well as unrivalled activity and top class events such as leagues, order of merit, a strong 50 member Inter CC team etc etc, then if clash is for you then come along and join the fun.

You want to play it.......then i wont stop you......why should I.

Below is a copy from PTrenters blog on his league news......Activity is increasing, which i never thought was possible.

"November saw our most active league season so far.  The average number of scores posted for each event was 90, up from 83 for October.  The total number of rounds posted was 1892, up 141 on last month."

    One example.....darn nearly 100 again.

But we dont just have activity in our league games, our AutumnTour events are the same.

Lots of work goes on here, folk work hard, all you have to do is click, play and look to see how you are doing.....leave the rest to us ;-)

Oh, i nearly forgot, and have a bit of a laugh on our website forum if you wish

    Its good to talk

I know we bang on about how active our CC is but that's because we've worked hard to slowly build up to where we are.  A day into the new league season and 55 scores already posted in the 1st fixture:

    LEAGUE FIXTURE #1

Not many CCs will see a tournament finish with that many entries and we still have the rest of the week to get these played.  So, not too late to join and get involved.  More info on the leagues can be found below

    HOW IT WORKS

    FIXTURES/RESULTS

    LEAGUE TABLES

You'll see at the bottom of that last link how new members battle it out in Division 3 for promotion into the main 4 leagues.

This Sunday evening sees the live draw for our monthly SEL Lottery.

All members of the CC at that point get put into a random draw and 4 lucky winners each win a sleeve of balls of their choosing.

SEL will give you some of the toughest competition you will find. Can only improve with so many good players pushing each other to succeed.

So if you want a challenge and and your not finding it at your CC, then come on in and join the crew.

Great bunch of hardworking people who put at lot of time and effort in making this a wonderful environment to have fun and improve while your doing it.
