  Below under .................... is part of a post i made elsewhere, and highlights the unrivalled generosity in this club IMO.....We have just finished a tournament where 17500 creds and 6 sleeves were shared out amongst over 30 members taking part, from al tiers.

  I had the idea at the start of 2016 to run the "SEL bank", asking for donations for us to use throughout the year in certain competitions, where all tiers win prizes. Ive been gobsmacked as to the generosity of the members in SEL throughout 2016 and would like to thank them.

  We have had, in "the bank", and in another members race to dubai style premium competition........168 sleeves and 13,500 credits.

  We still have some of the above left, as well as 5,000 from a member for a "special feat" to be achieved and 5,000 creds from a member for our ongoing LMS comp.  Plus sleeves outstanding for our xmas and monthly ongoing "SEL Lottery".

  Then i was contacted by a member to run this, and this just tops the lot. Copied from our website.........

  As well as that above, six other members offered sleeves to CTTH and Longest Drive winners throughout the competiton.

  I really am privileged to have the word "owner" next to my name amongst this list of fantastic folk.

  Anyway, back on track.

  Yes this one comp alone this month had 17, 500 credits and 6 sleeves up for offer folks.

  We have shared out in excess of 13, 000 credits since we started the bank. Now with the 17,500 thats over 30,000 credits.

  Also now over 170 sleeves of choice, not just WGT balls, but what winners choose.

  We still have thousands of creits pledged and many sleeves.

  Along with this, folk dont just bank sleeves, members post on our website pledges when many tournaments are organised, and long will this continue in our CC.

  Many members have joined us recently, amongst those are some top players who just fancied a change and know how SEL is a busy thriving community.

  Numbers are kept to those active in some club comps and forum users, no point being here if you remain a complete stranger and take little part.

  Activity, kindness, fun..........all here folks if you wish to join.

  Our 13 week Autumn Tour finishes this week. In that we have had 3 fantastic 3 week league events and the fantastic order of merit.

  The season always ends with our Magnificent 7 event and we have surpassed anything we have achieved regarding activity.

  This is event #1........107 members submitted a score.

  The other 6 events in this series have had upwards of 80 members taking part.

  Thing is, the Magnificent 7 does not finish till Monday so we expect all events to break the 100 mark.

  Seems as though folks like our work here.

  Our new 13 week Winter Tour has just started this week and activity has surpassed anything we have achieved before and that is not easy.

  No Red tee tournaments here, we do have one random tee 9 holer which is part of our Order of Merit so poss 2 or 3 holes per week.......and thats it.

  All tier up natural here which bodes you well for the future.

  So if sick of being in easy tee clubs and want to play the game from your default tees then your more than welcome to contact me or the owner.

  After being offered Ownership Position with Southern England Links, a little over a week ago, I must say, it has been the easiest of Transfership, that I have ever been involved in!

  The Director's and Members, are of the utmost top quality players, and people to be associated with! The website, forum, and various tournaments, that our club offers, makes it so easy to communicate with all of our members! The work that Bubb's, Trent's, Nico and Pip, has done and still does this day, to make this Country Club, one of the most active and friendly Club's within WGT, can't be topped!

  Since joining SEL last May, watching the work and tireless hours that these guys put in to keep this club moving, was amazing, and I am so proud to be associated with them and it's members!

  Just to make any potential new members aware, every tour we run a Matchplay Championship.  It's 18 Hole Double Elimination format so everyone gets a 2nd chance to win.

  Last tour's results can be found HERE

  We have already got 50 players entered for the next competition.  Sign up closes this weekend as that is when the 1st Round Draw takes place live on our chatbox.

  As per above we have 52 players in our Winter Matchplay Event.

  Draw tonight at 7 pm live on our chatbox.

  Mostly our strong 40 plus Inter CC team but new folk fancying it so looks like we will top the 50 mark for our Inter team.

  Even though our league and Tour are our main events, with over 100 playing in them, then we are also a very strong matchplay club also.
