  Another League Season draws to a close at SEL.  These seasons are run over 3 weeks with a 1 week break inbetween.  There are 22 players in each division who have 7x9 hole fixtures each week to play.  There are 4 divisions with a feeder league into those for newbies.

  It's a great competition which everyone seems to enjoy.  One of many at SEL.

  Good participation again too with a nice range of leaderboard toppers.

  This week we are busy playing the club "Endurance" competition, which in itself is a SEL Tour Comp where lowest total over 13 front and back 9s earns maximum Order of Merit points,  and all participants so on down the table earn points for finishing positions.

  The comps were only added 2 days ago and as you can see the activity is at its usual SEL level. A full 7 days these 13 events are on, and almost all of the 13 will get 100 members playing.

  Next week our new 3 week league season begins, and as per Trents table above, the clubs members love these league events.

  Bored with no club banter and empty leaderboards........well come join us as we aint.

  As Bubbs says, the new league season starts on Monday.

  Busy the night before too with draws for both the next round of the Double Elimination Matchplay and the November SEL Lottery taking place live on our chatbox.

  Our endurance week, as i mentioned earlier on this page.

  13 events with decreasing difficulties.......only in winds and green speeds mind, no red tees, as we dont do them here.

  Can anyone get into 3 pages of members playing ?

  Clubs preach activity........some speak with fork toungue......we dont

  We have a great thread on website to help lower tiers, some great tips, so come here, play varying green speeds, and improve your game...........naturally .

  Another SEL record broken.  Just 24 hours into our first league match and we already have 55 scores posted.

  League Match #1 Leaderboard

  Each League Match Tourny lasts for 7 days so still time to get involved in this 3 week long League season.

  • We have a 5 division strokeplay league (over 100 members playing)
  • We run a 13 week Order of Merit Tour
  • We have a CTTH league
  • We run small credit weekly comps/brackets
  • We use challonge for numerous SEL cups
  • We have our own SEL RANKING system
  • We have a 40+ successful Inter CC squad
  • We run matchplay comps
  • We use WGT weeklies/monthlies for our own competitions
  • We run Ryder Cup sttle events.
  • We cater for mobiles
  • We have a very generous sponsorship/donations thread.
  • We have a very active website and live chat
  • We have a tips section for learners
  • We run shot of the month, post replays, and win prizes.

   

  Previous posts on here show leaderboards going into 3 pages, yes thats 3.

  Some clubs with more members than us would be happy to have half a page.

  Some clubs with fewer members have activity, but to do it with 140 + is something else.

  If you want to get as much out of this game as possible, then SEL is the place.

  Just bit more info folks. Below you can see some numbers of who played some of our club comps this week, the first week of our 3 week league season. Of course you can cick the link to see for yourselves if you wish.

  Our events are second to none, and if you wish to get most out of club, then playiing the strokeplay, the order of merit, or the CTTH events and seeing where you stand on our league tables, is the best way........but if you just wish to join and just play 2 or 3 comps per week, then we are fine with that.

  These fixtures still have a full day to go when i have posted on here.

  Fixture 1....................98 played

  Fixture 2....................84 played

  Fixture 3....................83 played

  Even our monthly survivor had 73 enter.

  We dont poach other clubs members, so i cant (wont) invite if you are in another club.

  As per above folks. If you want to take part in an active CC then we are the one for you.

  Those league games above are not the full story as some of our members not playing in the league, take part in our Order of Merit events, our CTTH or our small credit tournaments instead.

  Some clubs may get higher percentage activity with only a few members but of course Its harder to fill rosters when you have more members. Not many clubs will get to 2 pages on leaderboards.........none IMO will touch 3 like us.

  Not that I've ever heard of, Bubbs.  That's an amazing accomplishment, and the most that I've seen on here.  But our CC regularly gets 90-100% playing in our CC tournaments, and I don't know of any CC (other than the CC. 's that have one or two members) who get that percentage of membership participation in their CC tournaments that we do.

  Having said that, I do want to congratulate you, as you obviously have a very special and unique CC.

  Thanks for the kind words Jackson.

  Yeah we do pride ourselves on activity, not for XP, far from it, as we really have no need. But rather for just good old healthy competition.

  So many players may not touch the top of leaderboards but what we always say, is concentrate on a fellow tier, and try to finish above them. Lots joined us as a lower tier and have worked their way up.

  Makes all our effort worthwhile, without folk having fun and competing in our club, then i personally would not be playing this game.

  Just build mate, some will join in and some wont. If they wont, well no point being in your club really.
