Being able to play against computer characters/or others in same home but on same device.  So one can play in a grouping but not with others online.

Perhaps make it so it is impossible for somebody to shoot a sub 55 round in 18 holes.  Unrealistic in real golf.  Some of these scores are silly!

There is so much that we have to consider in real golf that we don't have to concern ourselves with here -- Posture, ball position, grip, etc etc -- that scores on WGT of course are going to be far lower than we could ever shoot in real life.

Except, of course, for putting -- the one thing I do better on real grass than I do here.

If you putt better in real life than you do on here then that makes you the greatest putter of all time, congrats :))

Not really. His 1.62 putts per hole would have put him about 120th place last year on the PGA tour.

On here, the putts per round stat is pretty meaningless.

I must have been looking at old data that showed Mickelson at the top with 1.72 pph, where is more up to date data found?

For the PGA stats, I simply looked at the putts per round figure and converted the 1.62 into a putts per round (1.62 x 18). While I certainly could have missed it, I didn't see a putts per hole figure.

But I'll look at the data again. Maybe I had it wrong. If so, I apologize.

So, here's what I was looking at (hopefully, the link will post and direct to the page properly):

    https://www.pgatour.com/content/pgatour/stats/stat.119.y2019.html

At 1.62 putts per round, a player would average 29.16 putts for 18 holes. The top player (Spieth) averaged 27.71 putts. The 121st players (Furyk and Wright) averaged 29.16 putts.

I was looking at this kind of site that shows the pph avg.

The leader is on 1.68, 1.77 would be top 120.

As I understand it, putting average is calculated only on GIR. Total putts includes all holes, regardless if the green was reached in regulation.

I guarantee you that all of our putts per hole average would be higher if it were calculated on GIR.
