YES........PLEASE I repeat PLEASE don't start jacking around with the caddie. You will create other problems that you will never be able to fix. your track record of being able to fix bugs is about 50%. You are responsible for your own club selection.....not the caddie.

It is my observation that the Caddy picks the club based on the club's Punch shot distance,

Inside 50 yards it seems to use the club pitch shot distance.

Thanks Apex, I'm gonna take a closer look at that.

I'm with you here, TMO. This crap has been happening a lot lately. Tell me how I can play a round where every approach is consistently 20+ yards short or long, where I can literally miss multiple greens with a wedge from inside 100 yards.... then go out five minutes after I finish that BS round and shoot -9 on 9 holes. Whether it be VEM or simply the game not hitting the shot with the club I've selected, 20 yards of distance deviation is ridiculous, especially 6-7 times in a 9 hole round. If it doesn't happen to you, consider yourself lucky, you're playing a different game.

Thanks Glassman, you have described it perfectly. And Mainzman, i think you have something there. If i did choose a 3 iron, and the game gave me a 5 iron while still showing me a 3 iron, then it could be impossible to know if that is the case. But i dont always just double check the club when i see a round going south, i actually double select the club to make absolute sure.

Folks have mentioned that the wheel might scroll by accident. Sorry folks, i have a logitech mouse with a wheel that has a very audible click when the wheel has scrolled. It also lets me know this by the pulse of the wheel scrolling through my hand, so to speak, so it aint that.

Funny thing is, i have to agree with folks who say dont change anything. We all know what happens when WGT mess with stuff. But i do agree with the option to turn the caddie off. A no win situation.

Unless your coders are prepared to factor in everything from lie to clubs carried to player smarts you're taking a leak into the proverbial wind. If you really want to make some sense of it anyway, tie the club picked by the caddie to the actual yardage, including short game shots. 121 out gets a 120 yard pw instead of a 135 yard 9 iron, stuff liike that.

Every pitch lie is offered a chip first. This is misleading as it allows you to think a chip might just work went it will never.

There's more but in the end I think that On/Off switch in the Options would fix it all. :-)

Same thing they did when Kat came out with her note taking program. What did they do?.... come out with some notebook that is totally useless....lol. Tried to jump on that bandwagon so quick..... that did not even get the shite even close to working.... hehe. And... i'm sure that notebook will be fixed very soon.......LMAO!

They do anything with this crap caddie..... trust me you will pay.

Fix and free don't mix well here.

Yup super duper mac daddy caddie will be for sale in pro shop soon.......lmao!

And....... it will be totally useless,,, just like the notebook.

Then ask players to give instances where caddie doesn't work properly? LOL.... when is it right?

Like i said earlier......want to see ya'll crap caddie in action..... play a round. Or.... does anyone that works for this company even play this game??

Edit: Here is a good one..... Why don't ya'll fix that useless notebook....or refund all the players their money back that you stole. Can't even enter info on a shot after you hit it. What a friggen joke!

Right..... seen Kat's nifty work and thought would steal it. Same thing with shot pal and putter pal... stole that too. Yup...steal any idea think might make a buck off of. Shame though that ya'll don't have a programmer. Might need to hire some of these players here.

Got very good feeling if any competition shows up anytime soon..... the flood gates will open. And when they do.... got one person to blame.

Why hold back?? Should be charging for tees and golf gloves. Pencil?? LOL

It doesn't get better...it gets worse, and really what they do is add some features that most people don't use. The stuff that should be fixed or added are shoved to the side and forgotten. More like ignored.
